Birthplace: Buri Ram, Thailand
Birth date: March 14, 1971
I was born first in my family to wonderful parents who are rice farmers in my homeland of Thailand. My family has four children; I have a younger brother and two sisters. I ordained as a Buddhist forest monk in Thailand on Earth Day, April 22, 1993, the day before the famous American farm worker, César Chávez passed away.
He farmed grapes; I farmed rice.

I left the Buddhist monastery and my life as a monk on April 16. 2001 - just a week short of having been ordained for 8 years. A new chapter in my life began and I enrolled as a student at Chaffey College. I also discovered that I liked to paint one day when I found some very old paints at home. It turns out that my first painting, RED SUN was selected to be in the Pomona Valley Art Association's 21st Annual Juried Art Show in November 2001. |

I intend to continue my studies and someday return to my homeland, Thailand. My paintings are watercolors, pastels, oils and acrylic. I paint from my heart and mind. It is my intention that each of my works evokes in the viewer a sense of peace and tranquility. I invite all who partake of my art and my web site to relax, meditate, and enjoy the peaceful feelings that my work will hopefully instill in the viewer's soul. Thank you so much. It is my honor to paint for you.
